TYRIAN is a 501C3 inter-spiritual network whose mission is to empower creativity, healing & peace making.

We are an intentional learning community founded in the year 2000 on Kelley's Island/Ohio and dedicated to Brigid, both the goddess and the saint. We named the organization for the tyrian color of Brigid's legendary mantle.

To support

Creativity

we select an artists to honor with the annual TYRIAN Artist Award. In 2002 we began restoration of the TYRIAN Oasis, rumored to have been an underground railroad stop on Cleveland's West Side and consecrated the home in 2003 as an "urban ashram" in Ohio City. We continue to dream about developing "Singing Cedars" a community of cultural creatives & compassionate contemplatives on the 10 acres surrounding Himmelblau House on Kelly's Island, Ohio.

Health

we are in partnership with natural healers like Gloria Savage founder of Arc Ancient & Darla Sedlacek founder of "Ride the Wave". Furthermore members of TYRIAN were instrumental in helping Mary Jo Ruggieri grow the Columbus amd Cleveland Polarity Schools as well as The Ohio Institute of Energetic Studies

Peacemaking

In partnership with women in Kildare / Ireland, Brigid's birthplace and Sacred Space in Celeveland,Ohio we sponsor a Brigid Peace Festival every year around Brigid's feast day February 2nd. Furthermore Tyrian support the formation of a U.S.Peace Department and and periodically host Peace Forums with Nobel Peace Prize Winners.

The TYRIAN Oasis

The TYRIAN Oasis was designed by Christopher Diehl and renovated by XBX Building Company. It was completed in 2004 and is envisioned as a teaching lodge/ashram and an urban hermitage home as well as the TYRIAN headquarter.

We are located at 1870 W44th in Ohio City on Cleveland's West Side where we offer workshops & seasonal liturgies to our members,friends and partners. Oasis also offers access to the

  • Brigid Celtic Reading Room,
  • Cornerstone Postinia,
  • Meditation Room &
  • Serenity Gardens.

Dagmar Braun Celeste, author and longtime life balance coach resides at Oasis and provides life coaching and spiritual direction based on The TYRIAN Way an inter-spiritual horarium/ handbook she developed following her ordination in 2002. (RCWP/ Roman Catholic Women Priests)

TYRIAN sponsors the following weekly and monthly group gatherings:

  • 1st Friday eucharistic service & spiritual growth/wisdom circles

  • 1st Monday celtic tree learning circle

  • 1st Wednesday spiritual weight release circle

  • Second Friday theology reading circle

TYRIAN also sponsors summer meditation retreats and yoga training at Himmelblau House on Kelly's Island & "Liturgical Improvisations" every First Saturday @ Ride the Wave in Lakewood/Ohio.

General membership is FREE and all members may request our news letter TYRIAN Tracings .

  • Friends of TYRIAN: $5-$25-$50/year
have unlimited access to Oasis & Serenity Garden. (by appointment)

  • Partners of TYRIAN : $100/year
receive all the Friends benefits and may use all Oasis facilities

including the "Cornerstone" meditation room and "Serenity Garden" to offer their own events & rituals once/month.

  • TYRIAN Singing Cedars Community Investors: $1000+
will be part of planing the Singing Cedars Development
